[ Turning to face him, she claps her hands together. ] Let’s catch them together, mm?

[ One hand falls, and the other goes to her chest as she nods towards him. ] My name is Pyra, by the way.

Yusuke Kitagawa. [He's still looking a little puzzled, honestly, and otherwise is as serious as before.]

Very well. If we head back to the shop for a moment, we can get you a net. You certainly wouldn't want to try catching one with your bare hands.

[ She's not quite sure where his puzzlement comes from, but she nods to him again. ]

Y-yes, we should be careful not to... [ Aaaand walking towards towards one of the stands with him! ] It seems that they're especially sensitive [ and explode ] to the chroma we provide.

[ She's sensitive to chroma, especially since it's another energy source.... But she definitely doesn't blow up into sparkles. ]

[He manages to procure another net from the shopkeeper, which he hands it over to Pyra.]

An astute observation... I wonder if those low on Chroma could catch them safely, even without a net?

[Yusuke is running low, not really having any opportunity to make Chroma since he got here.]

I.... wouldn't be willing to take that risk, personally. Because in a way, we are responsible for the birth of these sprites, by imbuing them with energy. [ Like instead of being dragon-parents last month, they are now sprite-parents. Literally creating beings through the help of their energy.

Anyway, she takes the net, ready to set off. ] Is there a reason you ask?

I'm... a little low on chroma, that's all. I thought it might be useful.

[He seems nonchalant about this, all things considered, taking up his net and looking around. She does have a point, that they're responsible for them, he thinks.] Now where did that sprite go away to...?

[ She'll only spare him a passing glance out of the corner of her eye when he mentions he's low on chroma. If he is-- he's handling it quite well, but she'll make sure to be mindful him, or watch for any signs of crystallization.

But before she can say anything to that effect: ]

....--Oh! Over there! [ She'll set off in pursuit of a sprite she sees. ] Quickly--

[ Chase scene music gooooooooooooo ]

[As they chase it, Yusuke takes a different route to try to head it it off. The sprite turns and almost collides with Yusuke in a panic, before zipping back to fly in Pyra's direction.]

It's coming your way!

[pyrafect]

[ Excellent tactic, she thinks.

Pyra stops as she notices the sprite doubling back toward her, sparkles flying in its wake as it attempts to flee Yusuke.

She waits for just the right moment and—!


Pyra snatches up the sprite into her net, quickly clamping the end. ]

Oh— look! We did it! [ She says brightly, walking over to him. ] Quick thinking, too, for diverting it back to me.

[wantsnudes]

Ah! Well done. Your swift reflexes were equally as helpful.

[He slows from a run to a jog to catch up to her as she snags the sprite, soon stopping by her side.]

The shopkeeper will be pleased we were able to catch it. Shall we return?
