Morgana goes quiet for a moment deciding to test something. After a second of concentration, he's engulfed in blue flame for half a second before changing into his Phantom Thief attire.

"Well... that settles that. There's something more to this place than initially thought. It's definitely not the Metaverse... but I don't think we can let our guard down just yet either..."

Yusuke imitates Morgana and pictures himself in his Fox attire. The simple mental effort is enough, and his clothes likewise shift in a burst of blue fire.

"Ah-- it's the same for me too. I wonder... If we can simply will our clothes to change, surely that must be different to being perceived as a threat. So we can rule out being in a Palace, I think."

How do you define "intense"? [Genuine question. Any kind of social interaction can be intense for Futaba in certain situations, and he imagines that includes holding hands.

Once they sit down, Yusuke scans over the menu, and he does a double take from it to her, mouth agape.]

I can order-- anything? Where and when did you accrue such wealth, Futaba? [...She had just been explaining Chroma to him, but his mind is too blown to think that through properly. Free food!!]

Oh uh up to... actual intimacy. [She's going to leave it at that. Cordis has made her very open, but talking sex with Yusuke just seemed weird! She's not going to read into her reasons for that very much however.]

The past couple days I've been doing really good at producing Chroma. Pretty much since my transformation happened. So I mean I'm not insanely rich or anything, but I can treat you alright.

[She smiles for a moment before deciding to diver the subject a little.]

Oh hey by the way we're not the only Persona users here. Remember those murders in Inaba when we were in Middle School? Apparently that was connected to Personas and the people who put the murderer away are here.

[Yusuke drums his fingers on the table, trying very hard not to think about Futaba and... intimacy. It's hard to even imagine, with how she was just a few months ago, and it makes his cheeks tinge a little at the thought.]

Inaba... I vaguely recall something like that. [Not that Yusuke paid much attention to the news back then, being wrapped up in art as he was, but it was still big enough to make national news, particularly when the culprit was revealed to be a member of the police.] Did these Persona users have access to the Metaverse, as we did?

[Only Akechi had a power like Ren's out of all of them, so this Souji individual is probably someone special, too. He's sure he'll meet him soon enough to be able to judge for himself.]

I also wonder why they don't use masks. Surely they'd need to hide their identities in the Metaverse?

They didn't go into the Metaverse actually. Well they didn't call it that. Souji said it was called the TV World and they went in by...well going inside of TVs. If I didn't know he wasn't the type to lie, I'd think he was crazy.

You look as though you've found some strange contact lenses, along with the means to make them glow. Aside from the uncanny factor, they don't look too terrible, however.

I suppose some people are able to handle being in the public eye gracefully. Not everyone is cut out for that kind of scrutiny, but some learn to cope with it... or how to hide from it.

It may also be different if you truly want the spotlight for yourself. Drawing some attention to shogi as a sport was all well and good, but the rest of it... I could do without, honestly.

Sharing a passion with others is certainly admirable. Yet drawing attention to the sport through your own talent alone should be enough.

[ She had only been admiring the quality of some the trinkets, watching as the crystals sparkle upon their stands. The buzz of demichroma housed within the crystals is interesting to her, as someone who is sensitive curious to all different sorts of energies not of her world... so much so that she doesn’t quite notice the activity beside her until it’s too late.

Next thing she knows, her vision is partially obscured by a lattice of strings.

Turning slightly, she straightens up within the net to give the one responsible a smile. ] Ah, you caught me. [ She jokes, playful and gentle, so as to not offend him further. Pyra moves a hand to slowly lift the net above her face like a bridal veil, crimson eyes raising to meet his with the motion.

His scowl is only met with a gentle, apologetic look. ]
